There is untapped power in the art community here in the Atlanta. Do you know where it is? Black Women Artist. Yup, I said it. And do you know what’s even more powerful, a community built for and by them. I believe that building a community within TILA will shift the art industry, locally and nationally. And honestly, they not ready.

I know they aren’t because the last two weekends we spent with Deborah Roberts, Carrie Mae Weems and Zoe Whitley, and by the third outing people started recognizing us as the "TILA girls and Women" #LivingOurBestBlackArtLives.
They were taken a back to see a group of young women together, discussing and critically engaging in art. We want to change this. We believe the power that we all hold within us as a community and our art can be the catalyst to all of your dreams imagined.
You deserve to hold space.
You have power to make space.
And TILA will go with you.
We have turned TILA upside down and the space looks brand new. It’s ready for you to come collaborate with other Black Women Artists, relax in the reading corner or study a film on the projector. Schedule a time to visit if you want to work together sometime.
A few of my favorite things around TILA:
My favorite course - Electric Lady, an Adobe Suite Series that teaches you tools across the different Adobe programs. Dope right?!
My favorite snack - HUMMUS. You can never have enough hummus.
My favorite spot - The yellow bean bag in the reading corner. Chill or nah?
No matter, what your skill level is there is a place for you at TILA.
